Co-CEO Mike Lazaridis of RIM launches BlackBerry 9800 with BlackBerry OS6 Torch and also announced that the BlackBerry OS6 will be available for some types of other popular handhelds, including BlackBerry ® Pearl ™ 9100 3G, BlackBerry ® Bold ™ 9650 and BlackBerry ® Bold ™ 9700!
Finally, an official statement from RIM BlackBerry OS6 that will be available for some types of other BlackBerry:
“BlackBerry 6 is scheduled to be first introduced to the market with the BlackBerry Torch on August 12, but I know many of you are also wondering about support for existing BlackBerry smartphones. I am happy to report that BlackBerry 6 will be available in the months ahead (pending carrier certifications) on some of our leading smartphones, including the BlackBerry® Pearl™ 3G 9100, BlackBerry® Bold™ 9650 and BlackBerry® Bold™ 9700″
Hopefully within the next few months we've been able to make Device Download BlackBerry OS6 mentioned and to the other.
